VISIBLE WIRELESS: CONNECTION PROTECTION
In 2023, Visible Wireless asked us for an idea that would make a real difference in the lives of their customers. With millions of Americans affected by layoffs and financial insecurity, we leaned into the insight that people really rely on their mobile connections during times of economic hardship. (In fact, 70% of job applications were completed on mobile phones in 2021.)
The result: Connection Protection—three free months of wireless service for those affected by layoffs, along with career resources and coaching from Empower Work, a leading nonprofit supporting people through various work-related challenges.
We launched the campaign nationwide at the beginning of 2023, during the peak hiring season.
Key national and trade media appearances helped Connection Protection break through to a wider audience.
TikTok influencers like Erin McGoff and Sho Dewan were enlisted to spread our message to millions more via social media.
The real-world results were, in a word, meaningful.
